Stroberg Farm

The Stroberg Farm is operated by Scott Stroberg and located near Nickerson, Kansas. Mr. Stroberg approached the Kansas Water Office in the hopes to demonstrate his irrigation technologies to nearby farmers to help conserve the water resources in the area. He plans to compare his tech farm field management and irrigation technology results to other nearby fields to help promote water conservation in the area.

Technology

For the 2020 growing season, plans are to compare corn progress and yields through utilizing technologies such as soil moisture probes, remote monitor sensing, direct plant sensing probes, weather station data as well as focusing on specific irrigation scheduling.
