The Shelly Hoobler Water Technology Farm is owned and operated by Shelly Hoobler. The farm is located in Sumner County, southeast of Belle Plaine, KS and just northwest of the confluence of the Ninnescah and Arkansas Rivers. Hoobler is a local farmer and also raises cattle. The goal of the farm is to implement further measures to conserve water as well as control soil health issues on the farm.
Unfortunately, due to flooding in spring 2019 the Shelly Hoobler Farm will not be able to grow and produce a crop this season. The farm will still be enrolled in the program but won't be starting a full season until possibly 2020.
