Lower Republican Special Irrigation District Meeting in Concordia
December 5, 10 a.m., at Cloud County Community College

The Kansas Water Office will host an organizational meeting for the Lower Republican Special Irrigation District at 10 a.m., on Monday, December 5 in the Cook Theater on the Cloud County Community College Campus, 2221 Campus Drive in Concordia, Kansas.

The recent changes to the Republican River Compact have made the possibility of surplus water stored in Harlan County Reservoir to be released for Kansas irrigation. The meeting is open to the public and will provide information for landowners affected by Minimum Desirable Streamflow (MDS) in Clay, Cloud and Republic counties.
