Registration is Open for the Virtual Water Conference November 17 & 18 and Photo Contest and Student Posters Deadline is Approaching

Registration for the 2021 Virtual Governor’s Conference on the Future of Water in Kansas, which is taking place on Wednesday, November 17 and Thursday, November 18, is now open and free for attendees.

Conference Topics include:

  • Surface and Groundwater Issues
  • Infrastructure
  • Kansas Water Plan Progress
  • Current Research

KWO is accepting water photos to be featured in conjunction with the conference. The top winning photo per category will be displayed in the Kansas Water Office and featured at the 2022 Governor's Conference on the Future of Water in Kansas. Winners will also be featured in several of the Kansas Water Office publications. Deadline to submit photos is Friday, November 5. 

Student Research will also continue to be a feature during the virtual conference. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit abstracts on their water-related research to be presented as posters. Any research that involves water quantity, quality or water education is eligible and cash awards are available. The submission deadline is Wednesday, November 10.
