Kansas Celebrates Water in Observance of World Water Day

A proclamation was signed declaring Thursday, March 19 as Kansas Water Day. The Kansas Water Office (KWO) with partner agencies will celebrate Kansas Water Day at the State Capitol in observance of World Water Day. There will be booths in the rotunda to highlight our water resources and management as well as the ways some of Kansas water issues are being addressed. Additional sponsors for the day include WaterOne and Burns & McDonnell.
