Neosho Regional Advisory Committee to Report on the State of Water Resources
Two opportunities to hear from local and state leaders, November 29 and December 13

The Neosho Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) will be hosting two special open houses regarding the state of the area’s water resources.  The State of Our Resources series is designed to share current status of the water resources, background information and what issues need to be addressed.

There will be two opportunities to attend.  The first will be on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the City of Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium, located at 503 N. Pine St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. The event will be open from 11 a.m. - 1p.m., and light refreshments will be provided by the City of Pittsburg and the City of Chanute.

The second State of the Resource opportunity will be Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in the Anderson Building, located at 2700 US-50, Emporia, KS 66801. The event will be open from 11a.m. - 1p.m., and the City of Emporia will provide light snacks.

More than 10 various sponsoring organizations will be available to provide information and answer questions related to numerous aspects of water quantity and quality.
