Stream & Riparian Restoration above Tuttle Creek Public Meeting

The Kansas Water Office will hold a public meeting and public hearing for comments on the Stream and Riparian Restoration above Tuttle Creek Lake Nonpoint Source Project Management Plan.  The goal of the project is to reduce sedimentation through the stabilization of multiple streambank sites along the Little Blue and Big Blue Rivers. 

The public meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Glacial Hills RC&D Office, 334 2nd Street in Wetmore, KS.  The public hearing will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the same location following the public meeting.  Citizens who desire to appear at the public hearing should notify the KWO at least seven days prior to the date of the hearing

 Written comments must be submitted before 4 p.m. on March 26, 2018 and should be mailed to Kansas Water Office, attention Cara Hendricks, 900 SW Jackson Street, Topeka, KS 66612 or email: cara.hendricks@kwo.ks.gov.  More information on the project can be provided upon request.
